What is the best downpipe bracket spacing?

Downpipe brackets should be ideally spaced approximately 1.5m apart, up to a max spacing of 1.8 m/6 feet. In areas of high rainfall, we suggest narrower centres are used accordingly.

For any swan neck downpipe fitting you should always have a downpipe clip to ensure the gutter is secured back to the wall at this point. It is also recommended to have a gutter bracket just above the downpipe shoe.

Remember, it depends entirely on your location, wind exposure, local rain levels and project details so please always make an informed decision that suits your project situation.
