It depends on your project, but our most popular thickness is our 16mm polycarbonate sheet as it offers a great mix of durability and cost-effectiveness.
If you are using a polycarbonate sheet for a roofing application, then 10mm is the minimum thickness you should use.
We do manufacture thinner 6mm and 4mm polycarbonate sheets, however, they aren’t strong enough for roofing and are mainly used on cold frames and as greenhouse polycarbonate. If you are using polycarbonate sheets for covering a room, for example on a conservatory, then to ensure good insulation, you should consider our 16mm, 25mm or 35mm sheets.
