Axgard Solid Glazing Sheets offer a safer, stronger and easier alternative to glass. In fact, they are often classed as virtually unbreakable. With their glass-effect look, high level of clarity and long lifespan, the Axgard sheets provide a quality look at an affordable price.

Axgard® Glazing Sheets are particularly great for where a high degree of strength is required to protect against impact and provide a safe glazing solution in the place of glass. For example, on a gazebo in a garden, school canopy or even greenhouse.

Virtually unbreakable - The Axgard® material is extruded from a polymer resin which is approximately 200 times stronger than glass of the same thickness and is therefore classed as virtually unbreakable.

UV Protected - Unlike many other plastic glazing options, Axgard® sheets are manufactured with an additional layer that protects the material from degradation due to the effects of ultraviolet light. These sheets are fully UV protected on both sides.

Wide range of thicknesses - Axgard® Clear is manufactured in thicknesses from 2mm to 12mm as standard and is probably the largest range of standard sheet sizes of its product type globally. Popular thicknesses include the 4mm solid polycarbonate sheet, 6mm solid polycarbonate sheet and 10mm solid polycarbonate sheet.

Selection of Colours - In addition to Axgard Clear polycarbonate, the most popular tint, these glazing sheets are also available in Opal (milky white), Bronze and Black to suit a range of applications! For added privacy, we also manufacture an Axgard® Patterned sheet which keeps light transmission to a maximum whilst providing a degree of privacy.

Easy to Install - Axgard Glazing Sheets are easiest and best installed with one of our Alukap Glazing bar ranges. Either use Aluminium Glazing Bars for where you have timber rafters in place, such as a pergola, or Self Supporting Glazing Bars for creating a self-supporting structure without the need for any rafters, such as a carport.

If installing glazing sheets as secondary glazing then our Sekosnap® Secondary Glazing DIY bars are the best way to secure the sheets.

Easy to Cut - Unlike other solid plastics which can easily split, crack or shatter, Axgard Glazing Sheets are easy to cut to size or shape during installation with low hassle. In addition, Axgard can also be drilled very easily without the fear of the sheets splitting to the edge.
