These downpipe connectors suit the Aluflow® round downpipe and associated guttering supplies. Simple in shape but effective, the aluminium downpipe connector helps ensure a great drainage speed.

Much like the Aluflow Downpipe, the downpipe connectors utilise an intuitive slot-fit installation method that is straightforward for both DIYers and more experienced installers. If you wish to make your downpipe fully watertight a gutter sealant can be used on the inside lip to create a full seal.

Although they can be slotted in at any point of the downpipe length, for longer lengths it is recommended to use a gutter bracket below the connector to strengthen the installation. Gutter clips are a low-cost way of safeguarding against any downpipe slippage over time.

When do you need a downpipe connector?

A downpipe connector should be used to join two lengths of downpipe when you are installing a downpipe on a two storey (or greater) building. Aluflow aluminium downpipes are manufactured in up to 4 metre lengths so usually they would be used for any projects higher than that.
