Frequently Asked Questions

For best results, PVC wall cladding sheets should be fixed to plywood or plasterboard backing boards. They can be installed with adhesive without the need for messy screws or nails which look unsightly and also damage the waterproofing of the PVC cladding sheets.

It is also possible to fix PVC wall cladding sheets directly on to existing tiles, provided the tiles are clean and free of grease. Another option is to scratch or score the surface of existing tiles which gives the adhesive a good grip strength to hold the sheets to.

To cut PVC wall cladding sheets use a jigsaw with a fine-tooth blade. It is easy to do at home or on-site. You can also cut the PVC wall cladding to shape if required. For example, if you need to cut around a pipe.
