Alukap-XR Endstop Bar is a high-quality sheet closure for polycarbonate roofing sheets and glass units at the gutter end of a roof.

The Alukap-XR End stop bar is manufactured as an 'F' shaped profile providing extra strength to the rigidity of the glazing. Polycarbonate end closures are sometimes also called an F Profile, F section or sheet enclosure by the trade. Ultimately, the End Stop bar is the strongest option out there.

Made from aluminium, these end caps for polycarbonate sheet have superb longevity and lifespan. Compared to the more budget PVC polycarbonate end closure this bar will last the test of time.

Fitting an End Stop Bar on the ends of your polycarbonate sheets is essential for every type of project for two reasons: 1. It keeps the inside of the sheets cleaner 2. Reduces risk of condensation.

Available in a wide range of thicknesses to suit a variety of different glazing thicknesses, ranging from 6.4mm to 35mm. Popular thicknesses of end stop bar for polycarbonate sheets are 10mm, 16mm and 25mm.

When installing a glass roof, like on an orangery or conservatory, the correct installation of an Alukap-XR End Stop as an end cap removes the need for using a glass anchor system – an expensive and unnecessary addition! Once in place, the Bar End Caps go over the front of the Endstop bar to complete the look.

Yes, the Alukap-XR End Stop Bar is the perfect end cap for both glass units, twin wall polycarbonate, multiwall polycarbonate and solid polycarbonate glazing. A similar fast installation process is used for all glazing materials.
