Polycarbonate fixing buttons are used to secure Axiome multiwall polycarbonate at additional fixing points. Glazing bars, like our Snapa Snap Fix range, would normally be the main fixing method, with these fixing buttons adding further centre-of-sheet fixing points as required for the specific site location.
Sometimes called polycarbonate screws, the Alukap-XR Fixing Buttons are easy to install and are suitable with a range of Axiome Polycarbonate sheets from 10 - 35mm thicknesses. This makes them ideal for our Axiome 10mm Clear Twinwall Polycarbonate Sheets or our thicker options like Axiome Multiwall 25mm polycarbonate.
Polycarbonate sheet fixings only tend to be required where a sheet width is wider than usual so cross purlins are being used or the location is more exposed than usual.

I wanted a polycarb roof on a metal gazebo. I measured and was prepared to order, but to be sure , I ran it past the people who deal daily with stuff like mine. Ok, it cost me lots more than I’d anticipated, but was able to see my future problems when we discussed it.So , slightly less well off than before, but I believe I’ve got the problem whacked and agree that they do know better than me! I don’t begrudge the extra, because I know once it is up ,barring a hurricane, the roof will stay put.
