Whilst Snapa bars are ideal for smaller DIY type projects, where greater longevity of strength are required, Alukap®-XR glazing bars are recommended. Alukap-XR is especially worth considering when using 35mm polycarbonate sheets due to the extra weight involved, the small premium for an Alukap-XR upgrade will ensure maximum roof lifespan.
