Snapa Base Bar Screws are ideal for fixing the base of the Snapa® Snap Fix Glazing Bar down to timber rafters when installing a polycarbonate roof.

Not for screwing polycarbonate sheets down to purlins. Please use our Polycarbonate fixings buttons for securing Axiome Multiwall Sheets, if required.

With two available lengths, 30 mm and 60mm, these base screws are ideal for a variety of rafter depths. The longer 60mm glazing bar fixing is the most popular option as it offers the maximum strength of fix.

Lovely finish

It’s not cheap, I needed to get the 6mtr version at £150 but it was well worth it and gives the top edge a quality look. I also didn’t realise that it is aluminium not plastic. Only thing I can think that would improve it is an end cap which could be fitted after the flashing. Would not hesitate to use on future projects.
