Aluflow Downpipe Offset Bend is used to create a ‘swan neck’ or change in direction on a gutter downpipe. Compatible with our round aluminium downpipe, the 112 degrees angle on this downpipe connector is perfect for overcoming any obstacles.

A swan neck is a term given to the installation method where you use two offset bends together to guide the downpipe from the fascia board down under the soffit and back to the building wall. The name comes from the shape it creates.

Trade often call these a 45 degree bend or 45 degree downpipe bend.

If you need to join two lengths of aluminium guttering together in a straight line then use our Aluflow downpipe connector.

Although seemingly complicated, creating a swam neck is made easy with the intuitive slot-in design for the Aluflow offset bend. Getting around other obstacles or wall obstructions is also simple using the 112 degree offset bend. One common use for these downpipe bends is for guiding the downpipe back to the posts on a lean to roof.

Aluflow products are powder coated to closely matched RAL codes within industry accepted tolerances. However please note that the varying manufacturing processes of different items such as the substrates, application methods and paint conditions can lead to slight variations in colour. Additionally, the finished colours may differ from batch-to-batch. Therefore there may be shading differences between different components which is an accepted phenomenon.

This was easy to install, looks great and good backup on their chat service, all for a good price. The guttering was unfortunately delivered to the wrong address. Decided to collect from there myself but Clearamber had offered to pick it up again and deliver after the weekend.
