What Glazing bars do i use at the edges, sides or gables?
For the gables or edges of a roof there is a Snapa Snap down Gable Bar available, this is worlds first two part gable bar! This means it simply snaps down like a standard glazing bar without the need for fiddley edge trims!
If you are looking to flash or seal against your back lean to wall then you should use our Snapa Top Wall Flashing for creating a watertight finish.
There is also a Snapa Snap Fix Wall Bar for when you are installing with a side wall abutting against the side of your roof.
How many Bar End Caps come with each Snapa Glazing Bar?
Snapa Snap Down Glazing Bars come complete with one endcap per bar. Additional Snapa Bar End Caps can be purchased here if your roof is open all sides or is free standing.
You can also purchase glazing bar screws so secure your Snapa Glazing bars down to your timber rafters. These are available in two different lengths to suit different depths of rafter. They should be secured down through the base of the glazing bar.
Can Snapa Glazing Bars be cut to length easily?
Snapa Polycarbonate Glazing Bars are easy to cut to lengths on site to suit the exact size of your roof, whether lean to or ridged, with a simple chop saw or similar saw.
