Axiome Clear 4mm polycarbonate sheets are the thinnest thickness of twinwall polycarbonate sheets that we manufacture. The Axiome 4mm polycarbonate sheet is still quite rigid and provides a very light weight and semi-flexible solution for small sheet size applications. Perfect for projects such as glasshouses, cold frames and shed windows.

The low cost price point of 4mm twin wall polycarbonate sheet makes it a great material for temporary glazing or protection on building sites. Its natural durability, being polycarbonate, provides a great durable solution for the short to medium term.

Although there are no glazing bars or joiners for 4mm sheets (as not a roofing grade thickness) it is important to still install the sheets correctly. Always use a compatible polycarbonate sealant that is designed to not attack the sheeting surface like other aggressive adhesives.

Can you use 4mm Twinwall Polycarbonate Sheets for Roofing?

Axiome Clear 4mm Sheets are a very cost-effective solution for many smaller DIY projects, however, for roofing projects we would recommend using at least 10mm twin wall polycarbonate sheets or thicker. This because the 4mm polycarbonate sheet isn't as rigid or strong against wind and weather.

Expensive plastic sheeting but you get what you pay for I suppose

I was very pleased with this product, it looked a little flimsy but it definitely isn't. It cost a small fortune, overpriced I thought but aside from that I was happy with the purchase, it arrived late but only a day or so, the delivery driver was very nice & helpful because though not heavy they are awkward to carry. I would definitely buy again
