The structured layers of Axiome 16mm Opal Polycarbonate provide greater spanning ability than the 10mm thickness. Like our other Triple Wall Polycarbonate Sheets the 16mm offers a great mix of spanning strength and affordability, making it one of our most popular roofing sheets.

The lighter Axiome Opal colour naturally reflects heat to help reduce heat build-up. The milky white opal tint also provides a bright glow inside, which installers love for the clean style. However, if you are looking for another tint, we also manufacture 16mm bronze polycarbonate and 16mm clear polycarbonate sheet options.

All Axiome sheets are UV protected on the outer surface providing excellent longevity and quality over time. This UV protection reduces yellowing and helps to increase the lifespan of a roof.

How to Install 16mm Opal Polycarbonate?

Installing 16mm polycarbonate is made simply by using glazing bars. Clear Amber manufactures three types of polycarbonate glazing bars to suit different budgets and installations. These include the PVC snap down bars, self supporting glazing and aluminium glazing bars.
