Fixings should be used on the peaks of the sheets to provide an effective waterproof fixing whilst allowing the water to drain down the troughs. The flexible nature of these flexible Corrapol fixing buttons means they compress over the shape of the sheet peaks to ensure a stronger fixing.

Which corrugated sheets can Corrapol® fixings be used with? These corrugated sheet fixings are compatible with the Corrapol® Stormproof, PVC and GRP sheeting ranges. 

The Corrapol screw are suitable for a wide range of roof structures, most commonly timber, however, if you are fixing to a steel frame it is recommended to switch the screws out for stainless steel fixings. This ensures you still get the benefits of the roofing screw caps.

How many corrugated roof fixings per sheet?

The quantity of roof fixings per corrugated sheet depends on your structure and the sheet length but, in general, you will require a minimum of 10 times the sheet length in metres. For example, 20 fixings for a 2 metre sheet. However, for most applications, installers use more screws than this.

Remember it depends on your specific projects so always adjust to suit your location. For example, you will need more fixings if in a windy or exposed location.
