This incredibly popular patented aluminium side flashing is a must-have for any gable or verge end on Corrapol corrugated roof sheets. Available in six colours across the ranges, Corrapol Rock n Lock Gable Flashing is super easy to install; simply Rock n Lock the side flashing onto the end corrugation of Corrapol clear sheets and then screw to the end rafter of your roof with the fixings provided. Corrapol Rock n Lock Gable Flashing is extruded from aluminium, giving maximum longevity and superior protection for Corrapol clear sheets and Corrapol-BT coloured bitumen corrugated roofing sheets.
Why do I need the Corrapol Rock N Lock Gable?
Corrapol Rock n Lock Gable Flashing was a ground-breaker when launched, and continues to be a very popular must-have product. Not only does it substantially increase the lifespan of the overall corrugated roof at the gable end, but it also makes installation easier, but also creates a more professional and long last finish. Previously verge and barge options have tended to be poor quality and bad waterproofing solutions. Here are a few key benefits:
- Protects vulnerable verge or gable by waterproof robust finishing profile
- Reduce degradation on the outside edge of BT sheets
- Help keeps sheets square across the roof
- Significantly reduce the chance of sheet uplift in high winds
- Great colour matching with ridge and sheets
- Stops the bad practice of folding the sheets over the verge
These benefits are just some of the reasons why the Corrapol Rock N Lock is one of our most popular innovations and is now used on the majority of Corrapol Roofs.
Does the Corrapol Rock N Lock Gable come with fixings?
Yes, Corrapol-BT Rock n Lock Gable Flashing comes with stainless steel fixing suitable for timber rafters, with colour matching screw caps in any of the six available colour options.
What ridge do I use with the Corrapol Rock N Lock
Both the Aluminium Super Ridge and DIY Grade Bitumen Ridge can be used with the rock n lock flashing, however, the DIY Grade ridge isn't as easy to match up so we would definitely recommend opting for the Corrapol Super Ridge, which provides the same level of professional waterproofing and aesthetically pleasing finish.
