Snapa Side Wall PVC Glazing Bars work with a simple snap-fix connection offering fast installation great for a wide range of DIY projects including carports, lean tos, pergolas and more!

Snapa Wall Side Bars are excellently manufactured being designed to work with the most popular polycarbonate sheet thicknesses including 10mm, 16mm and 25mm! If you are installing 32mm Polycarbonate Sheets, 35mm Polycarbonate Sheets or glass then you would need to use our Alukap XR Aluminium Glazing Bar Range.

The Snapa Wall Bar has a significant wall thickness to provide high strength and rigidity on the side flashing.

It makes finishing against a sidewall easy and if used alongside Flashing Tape it ensures a nice waterproof finish against the wall.

How many bar end caps does a Snapa Wall bar come with?

With lean tos being the most popular style of roof, all Snapa Snap Fix glazing bar types come with one end cap per bar purchased. This means that if you are building a freestanding or fully open roof then you will need to purchase additional Snapa Snap Fix Glazing Bar End Caps for your project.

Can you use the Snapa Wall Bar for flashing or sealing against the back lean to wall?

No! To seal or flash against the wall at the back of your lean to roof you should use our top wall flashing which is designed to create a great seal no matter the pitch of your roof.

How to fix a Wall Glazing bar to timber rafters?

Use our glazing bar screws to secure your Snapa Wall Bar down to your timber rafters and purlins. These screws are installed through the base bar of the glazing bar and ensure a strong fix down to your wood frame. Never install glazing bar screws through the top cap.
