What thickness Axgard Glazing Sheets should I use with Alukap XR Glazing Bars?

It all depends on your rafter distances (the measurement from the centre of one rafter to the centre of the next rafter) as to what thickness is best for your application, however, any thickness will work with Alukap-XR! 

It is always a balance between the width of the sheets and the sheet thickness so if you want a wider gap between rafters you need a thicker sheet and if you want to be more economical on the sheet with a thinner thickness you will require a narrower gap between rafters. A good place to start is our most popular thickness which is Axgard® 6mm sheets.

The same principles apply to Alukap-SS Glazing Bars and Axgard Sheets in terms of glazing widths and thicknesses.
