Compatible with Corrugated Plastic & Bitumen Roof Sheets

Primarily, pent shaped roofs are found on garden sheds where coloured corrugated sheets are used so this flashing works with both bitumen roof sheets and Corramet® sheets.

However, often free-standing roofs also have a single pitch roof design like a pent roof, such as a canopy over a standalone deck area. For this reason, the Pent Roof Flashing is handily also compatible with all our corrugated plastic roofing ranges.

Important: due to its unique profile, the Pent Roof Flashing is only compatible with Clear Amber’s range of corrugated sheets, including the brands Awnapol, Corrapol and Corramet®. It will be incompatible with other profiles and older sheets.

Unique Gasket Design for a proper seal

Like our other corrugated flashings, the Pent Flashing has a patented and registered design with several unique features that ensure maximum lifespan and weatherproofing.

A top feature of the pent roof flashing is its innovative foam gasket that seals down onto the corrugated sheet. This creates a firm seal onto the sheets surface after installation to help weatherproof the roof.

Traditionally, the risks of nature and weather damaged happening to your pent roof was all left to chance; no longer with our unique Corrapol® Pent Roof Flashing.

Made from a closed foam the gasket compresses down as the Corrapol® is secured to create the optimum amount of pressure downwards onto the sheet.

Manufactured from Aluminium

For a roof flashing its lifespan and weather-resistance is all-important. To this end, we manufacture the Pent Roof Flashing from durable aluminium to give it an estimated 20 year lifespan.

Not only is aluminium very durable but it is also fully recyclable at the end of its life.

No need to use a brittle plastic or PVC flashing that will go brittle and crack rapidly.

Optimum Profile to Protect Against Weather

We produced the pent roof flashing to ensure the best possible shape and size to shield the corrugated sheet’s edge from the weather without looking unsightly.

With a generous 100mm length, the down stand on the flashing will effectively cover the critical part of the eaves on most roofs. For example, with our Corrapol® PVC corrugated sheet it would flash down approximately 75mm below the bottom of the sheet.

The 90 degree L-shape for creates a clean edge and makes it easier for the installer to get a tight finish against the roofs front face. This snug finish helps protect against wind uplift from wind gusts.

Easy Installation on Pent Roofs

Installation is made easy on the Pent Flashing with a screw guide along the edge to show where to screw-fix it down.

Simply, screw into flashing with the flexi cap screw fixings provided. These come in a range of colours to match the corrugated sheet colours.

The top fix ensures the strongest possible fix to resist wind gusts from either direction.

We manufacture the Pent Flashing in lengths up to 6 metres, so you can have minimum joins on larger roofs. It can also be easily cut to size with a chop saw, or similar, with a compatible blade.
