Half round gutter brackets are for use with the half round guttering range. A gutter bracket is designed to be screwed to your roof fascia or structure and then hold the guttering above. Lengths of gutter can simply be simply be clipped in.
Installing your gutter brackets is usually the first step when installing new plastic gutters so it is important to set these up properly.
When installing gutter clips, always bear in mind the direction of drainage. The brackets should drop in height along the length towards the end which has the running outlet. This would mean the fall is away from the end with the external gutter stop end.
As a guide, it is best to secure half round gutter brackets with around 500mm spacings. For areas that experience snowfall or large rainfall the gutter brackets should be brought closer together at approx. 300-400mm. At bends or corners the first bracket should be within 100-150mm away from the angle.
